Registration

All players must be registered through Play Football and be financial before taking the field.

Registration usually opens in January each year.

Discounts may be available for families with multiple players.
- Active Kids Vouchers are accepted
Training and Match Days

Training days and times are set by individual coaches and announced before the season starts.

Most MiniRoos and Junior games are played on Saturdays, while Senior matches are on Friday night, Saturdays or Sundays.

All home games are held at Birralee Ovals – Junior/Senior, Heddon Street, Kurri Kurri.
Players should arrive at least 30 minutes before kick-off for warm-up and team organisation.
Parents’ Guide
What to Bring

Full club uniform (jersey, shorts, socks)

Hat and sunscreen on sunny days
Sideline Behaviour

Cheer positively and encourage effort over results.

Respect referees, game leaders, and opposition teams.

Stay behind the spectator lines and let the kids play.
Communication Tips

Keep in touch with your coach or team manager.

Let them know early if your child can’t attend a match or training.

Encourage your child to thank coaches, referees, and teammates.
Weather and Safety
We follow all Northern NSW Football safety policies and community sport standards.
Hot Weather Policy

Games and training are cancelled if temperatures reach 30°C for children or 34°C for adults.

Extra drink breaks are added for warm conditions.
Lightning Policy
-
Play is paused if lightning is within 30 seconds of thunder.

Matches resume 30 minutes after the last strike.
Sun Protection

Wear SPF30+ sunscreen and hats.

Use shaded areas wherever possible.

Smoke-Free Grounds

Smoking/vaping is banned in all spectator areas at sportsgrounds during organised matches or training.
